CLINICAL MEDICAL ASSISTING CERTIFICATE
The CUSF specialization in Clinical Medical Assisting prepares the learner to perform administrative and selected clinical and laboratory procedures leading to the California Certification as a Medical Assistant. Learners acquire the skills to draw blood, give injections, take electrocardiograms, and assist the care provider.
Career Opportunities include employement in physician's offices, hospitals, outpatient clinics, medical laboratories, and home health agencies.
