Master of Psychology (MPsy)
This Master of Psychology with a focus in Counseling Psychotherapy prepares the learner for a career as a Licensed Professional Counselor. The LPC is a mid-level, allied health provider independently licensed to provide psychotherapy and counseling services directly to clients and organziations. LPCs are independently licensed and share a scope of practice comparable to the LCSW and LMFT providers. LPCs contract with insurance carriers to provide psychotherapy and counseling serivces. The MPsy curriculum is modeled upon the NBCC criteria for the LPC.
